Hi families!

Sarett Field Trip: We will be going to Sarett on Friday from 12:30-2:00. Parents are welcome to meet us there. We will be hiking through different habitats, so wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather. There is a $3 adult entrance fee that can be paid at Sarett.  Thank you!

Penny War: Student Council is raising money for the Curious Kids Museum and Meals on Wheels. In an effort to get the whole school involved, we are having a penny war competition. Starting Monday kids are encouraged to bring in pennies for the next three weeks. They will turn them into milk containers during lunch. Dollars are welcome too! All silver coins can be used to deduct points by placing them in an opposing grade level's container. The grade level with the most points at the end of the 3rd week, will get to choose their reward, and all money donated will go to two great causes!

M Step: Due to connection issues throughout the district, we were unable to test on Thursday or Friday. We will wrap up M Step testing this week, starting tomorrow.

Testing Dates: May 7th & 8th - NWEA Reading, and May 14th & 16th - NWEA Math. Please try to avoid appointments in the mornings on these days. Thanks!

Math: Last week, we completed Unit 7, Lessons 1-5. This week, we will complete lessons 6-9. Additional practice at home using IXL textbook will be beneficial, especially for those who struggle.

We will leave promptly at 7:30 AM.  Everyone needs to bring their own lunch and drink for the day.  Kids are allowed to bring one electronic device. Students may also want to bring a bag that they will be comfortable carrying around all day.  We will be walking all day, so wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather. We will collect the kids' field trip t-shirts at the end of the day.  We should arrive back to the school around 5:00-5:15. Please pick your student up at the front of the school.  If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out. We are looking forward to this memorable trip! We will begin M Step testing on Wednesday this week, and Tuesday next week. We will test ...
