Hi families!

Testing: We will start Math M Step tomorrow and finish Tuesday. We will continue the ELA M Step on Thursday and Friday for anyone who needs to finish. Students are allowed to bring gum or mints for testing.

Music Performance: The fourth graders' performance of America: A Musical History  will take place this Wednesday, April 24. The students have the opportunity to perform twice. One performance will be during the day at school as an assembly. The second performance will be at 5:00 p.m. at St. Joseph High School. This performance is open to the public, so please invite anyone you’d like to come! For this performance your student should wear patriotic colors (red, white, and/or blue). They need to bring their recorder to both performances. For the evening performance, please have your student arrive between 4:30-4:45 to the St. Joseph High School auditorium doors. There will be signs to point the students to the music classrooms where they will wait to begin. Once your student has arrived, you may find a seat in the auditorium.

Thank you so much for all your support. If you have any questions, please feel free to email Ms. Mileham at amileham@sjschools.org. I look forward to seeing you all on April 24!

Sarrett Field Trip: We will be going to Sarett on Friday, May 3rd from 12:30-2:00. Parents are welcome to meet us there. We will be hiking through different habitats, so wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather. There is a $3 adult entrance fee that can be paid at Sarett.  Thank you!

Math: Last week, we finished unit 6 and took the assessment on multiplying and dividing large numbers. This week, we will work on unit 7/lessons 1-4. Extra practice at home using the IXL textbook will be helpful to reinforce these essential standards, especially for those who struggle.
