Happy Sunday! 

Thank you everyone for all of your flexibility on Friday! 


NWEA: Because of all of the closings last week, we will take our NWEA the next two weeks. We will take the Reading NWEA starting this Tuesday,  January 23rd, starting at 9:00 AM. We will take the Math NWEA the following week, Tuesday, January 30th. Please try to schedule appointments in the afternoon or after school if possible. Students are allowed to bring gum or mints for testing. 

Ice Skating: We will go ice skating tomorrow, Monday January 22nd. We will leave school at 9:40, and skate until 10:35. You are more than welcome to meet us at the rink and join! It is helpful to have parents to help tie up the skates! 

Math: Last week, we took the assessment on unit 4. This week, we will start unit 5 and complete lessons 1-5. Extra practice at home using the IXL textbook will be helpful to reinforce these essential standards, especially for those who struggle. 


Shoes & Boots: Due to the mud and wet conditions, students need to bring boots and a pair of shoes to school to change into after recess. An extra pair of socks and gloves would also be helpful! All snow & cold weather gear is essential every day. Thanks for your help with this!

  Hi families!  Thank you to everyone who sent in snacks for our trip and necessities for our classroom!   Here are some reminders for our trip to Lansing tomorrow:  All students and chaperones meet us in the classroom at  7:15 AM. We will leave promptly at 7:30 AM.  Everyone needs to bring their own lunch and drink for the day.  Kids are allowed to bring one electronic device. Students may also want to bring a bag that they will be comfortable carrying around all day.  We will be walking all day, so wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather. We will collect the kids' field trip t-shirts at the end of the day.  We should arrive back to the school around 5:00-5:15. Please pick your student up at the front of the school.  If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out. We are looking forward to this memorable trip!
