Hi families! 

House of Way: The Lincoln 4th grade is working with the House of Way to help others in our community. Some of you may already be participating in other donations. We understand this is a busy time of year and can also be stressful. We don't want to add to families' "to-do" list. We appreciate all you do throughout the year!

If you can participate, here is a list of the children we need to "shop" for. You can email me stating the gift you will send and we will update the list to avoid confusion. Please wrap the gifts and label them with the gender and age of the child. If you can't wrap yourself, kids will do that here during recess. They are so excited to help! We will create a whole workshop if we need to!! It would be great if the gifts were turned in by Friday, Dec. 15, but if you need more time, they are flexible and will still deliver everything for us. Again, thank you so much! 

*Remember the gifts can be gently used or new! Two of the children need a bed. Let me know if you have any questions. 

Holiday Party: Our class Holiday Party will be on Friday, December 22nd. This will be a much more relaxed party, so we do not need volunteers to come in. Kids will be watching a movie and drinking hot chocolate. I will be sending a sign up sheet this evening for treats if you are able to contribute. Thank you for all you do! 

Shoes: Due to the mud and wet conditions, it would be great if students could bring an extra pair of shoes to school to change into after recess. It also may be helpful to send in some extra clothes to keep in their locker just incase. 

Music Recorder Form: A recorder order form was sent home on Friday. If interested in purchasing a recorder, please return the form by Friday, December 15th. Any questions should be directed to Ms. Mileham, (amileham@sjschools.org)
