Hi families!
Laps for Lincoln is officially over! It was such a successful year. Thank you so much to everyone for all of your donations and support. The kids did such a great job showing Bear Behaviors and earning charms! We received the most Bear Paws for good lunch behavior, which means we earned a pizza party! The pizza party will be on Tuesday, so no need to send in a lunch on Tuesday :)
If you have not yet signed up for a conference, here is the link. If none of the remaining times work for you, please let me know and we can try to schedule a time that does work. A reminder that conferences are student-led, so your student does need to come to the conference with you. They have been working hard on their slides and are excited to share their goals with you!
Student Council: Any students who are running for student council should be working on their posters and their speech. We will hang up their posters (one in the classroom and one in the hallway) as soon as they are sent in! Students will share their speech on why they would be a good class representative on Friday, October 6th. The class will then take a vote through a google form.
Book Club: Any students interested in joining Lincoln Book Club can pick up a permission slip from Mrs. Gruchot in the media center, or you can send an email to her giving your permission. Here is more information on Book Club.
If you have not already, please fill out this getting to know you form. It helps me learn more about your student and will be helpful when setting goals for conferences!
Please make sure your student brings a snack and water bottle with them every day. We have a late lunch!
Classroom Volunteers:
If you are interested in signing up to volunteer to organize a classroom party(s) or bring in a food item/game, please click the links below and fill out the Google form. Thank you!
