Hi families!

Back to School Night will be tomorrow from 7:00-7:45 in my classroom! Here are the presentation slides if you would like to take a look or if you are unable to make it.

Math NWEA will begin on Tuesday at 9:00 A.M. If possible, please try to avoid scheduling appointments in the morning. Students can bring in gum or mints to have during the test. The results from the testing are beneficial for our teacher team to use to get to know your child as a learner and begin to set learning goals for the Student-Led Conferences in October!

Student led conferences will be in October. With the teacher's support, students will present learning goals and "glows" for their conferences. Together the student, parent, and teacher will discuss and celebrate a plan for the student. So each child needs to be present at the conference. Please sign up below on the link provided. If you have questions, more information will be given at Back-to-School Night.

Please make sure your student brings a snack and water bottle with them every day. We have a late lunch!

Snack Donations: If anyone would like to send in extra snacks, I will keep a collection for those who forget. Thank you!

Safety Patrol Permission Form

If your child is interested in being a  Safety Patrol Officer for this school year please fill out the form below.  Safety Patrollers help ensure that children cross the streets safely before and after school.  This responsibility means that they must be at their assigned post at 8:10 every morning and stay at the post until about 4:05 p.m., for the week they are assigned.  Students who ride the bus will start the bus patrol when they get off the bus in the morning and before they get on the bus in the afternoon. Please fill out the Safety Patrol Parent Permission Google form if your child is able to participate in this program. Please click on this link to fill out the form.

Classroom Volunteers

If you are interested in signing up to volunteer to organize a classroom party(s) or bring in a food item/game, please click the links below and fill out the Google form. Thank you!

Fall Party :October 31st

Holiday Party: December 22nd

Birthday Snacks: Students are allowed to bring in a treat for their birthday. However, we do have a peanut and red food dye allergy so please make sure the treats are peanut and red dye free, and send in food labels.
